Ted Hile Appointed as Director of Sales at CDI

CDI, the leading global supplier of Prepreg machines and specialist composites processing equipment, has appointed Ted Hile as Director of Sales.

Ted will be responsible for the company’s sales and account management in North America and new business development.

Ted joins CDI from General Plastics Manufacturing Company where he served as Marketing Manager. Key achievements include guiding capital investment project teams raising productivity by 25%, and coordinating an aggressive product launch and nationwide channel marketing programme resulting in $28 million in new revenue.

Working with major aircraft and aerospace manufacturers developing new products and processes, Ted has secured over $100 million in new business revenue from firms such as Boeing (Commercial Airplanes and Defence), Zodiac Aerospace, Heath Tecna and Alenia Aeronautica.

Complementing his sales experience with a Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA), Ted displays a wealth of expertise in business development strategies including assessing competitive advantages and aligning operations practice with ambitions for growth.
