JEC Group have brought together the international community of composites leaders and executives in our Composites Circle as an unique networking opportunity to meet with both peers and future partners.
The Ultran Group, inventor of modern non-contact ultrasound and a leading innovator in the development of quality inspection, is announcing the release of their new turnkey inspection system, the U710.
The U710 is faster and boasts higher sensitivity than any other non-contact ultrasonic quality inspection system in the industry, and its lightweight design allows for use in a wide variety of fieldwork applications. The U710 is primarily designed for non-contact (air-coupled) inspection, but is also used for immersion and direct/delayed contact testing. In addition to precision measuring capacity and lightweight design, the U710 contains the following features:
"We recently analyzed dozens of composite material samples in a matter of minutes with very descriptive results” says Konstantine Fetfatsidis, Ph.D, Composite Structures Research Engineer, Aurora Flight Sciences Corporation.
U710 is currently available in multiple configurations; U710-400i for X-Y imaging and U710-ix for multi-channel continuous inspection.Ultran Group’s Quality Inspection Systems have already been deployed on the manufacturing lines for prepreg composites material used in aircraft and aerospace industries.About Ultran Group: About Ultran Group Ultran Group was founded in 1977 with the simple goal of bringing ultrasound to the forefront of inspection technology.
