Developed in close cooperation with Automobili Lamborghini Advanced Composite Structures Laboratory (ACSL), the Forged FC is a binding made with Forged Carbon. The material is one of the lightest and strongest on the market, delivering peak performing heelside response and control.

Every year, ISPO (trade fair for sporting goods and sportswear) honors the best sports products for the coming season with the ISPO Award. In 2014 the jury examined 418 entries from 27 countries.

The Forged FC was elected Product of the Year in action category. The snowboard binding FC consists of forged carbon steel, a material innovation that is even lighter than titanium. It allows the production of three-dimensional binding components offering optimal support and flex at the required locations wherever force is applied. With only 1260 grams the binding is a true lightweight. FC is the result of an in-depth cooperation with “ACSL”, Automobili Lamborghini Advanced Composite Structures Laboratory.

"When we started this project, I was shocked by the intensity of the loads to which professional riders, like Travis Rice and Gigi Rüf, subject these bindings," said Paolo Feraboli, Ph.D, Director, Automobili Lamborghini ACSL.

Ten years ago Union came onto the scene, and the brand has continually introduced innovative materials. The company stands by its original commitment to the evolution of snowboard bindings.

The brand's team riders are constantly pushing the product's limits while redefining what is possible on a snowboard. Snowboarder magazine just recognized Union team riders Gigi Rüf as "Rider of the Year," and Jess Kimura as "Female Rider of the Year," and Justin Fronius as "Rookie of the Year."
