To strengthen our aerospace downstream team as soon as possible, we are looking for an interested and dedicated

ENGINEER (M/F/X) TECHNICAL SUPPORT THERMOSETTING PREPREG IN THE AEROSPACE SECTOR
Location: Wuppertal

 

Your future responsibilities include in particular:

  • Role as technical contact partner (m/f/x) for secondary producers and end customers (OEM), especially for product launches (if required, also at the customer’s location)
  • Support for sales managers as a technical expert (m/f/x) in the carbon product portfolio of Thermosetting Prepreg products
  • Optimisation of processes and product application, as part of the technical consultation team, with our customers on site
  • Passing on instructions for product improvement to the specialist departments
  • Participation in development projects for Thermosetting Prepreg products until qualification is completed or until ready for series production
  • Completion of customer sampling in consultation with the responsible sales manager and the technical service department, as well as internal communication of customer feedback
  • Provision of support for customer-specific testing as a technical consultant (m/f/x) at the customer’s location
  • Handover of support to the responsible employee in technical service during the course of project (proof of the technology’s functionality)

 

To handle these demanding tasks successfully, you should meet the following requirements:

  • Completed degree (university or college) in the field of fibre composite technology, plastics technology, material sciences or a comparable qualification (m/f/x)
  • Initial professional experience in the development or application of fibre composite materials is desirable
  • Business fluent in German and English (spoken and written)
  • Good PC skills and good knowledge of MS Office
  • Willing to travel on business (mainly in Europe) and possession of Class B driving licence.
  • Proactive, goal-oriented and results-oriented work style
  • Team player (m/f/x) with a cooperative approach to supervisors, customers and colleagues
  • Sociable nature and good communication with a high level of social skills
