Key Responsibilities

  • Developing and implementing the events marketing strategies including visitors and exhibitors communication campaigns to meet the events strategic objectives
  • Evaluating customer research, market conditions, competitor data and producing effective and engaging marketing plans
  • Monitoring competitor activity and enhance brand visibility on events
  • Managing and copywriting print and digital productions and artworks with a Graphic Designer and with external suppliers
  • Developing and supervising online and offline marketing and communication activities to achieve frequent, timely and effective events promotion
  • Work with the events Operations Department to ensure all events are delivered to a high standard
  • Web Marketing: improving, updating and running websites contents, preview and post-show reports, mobile apps and rich media contents
  • Expanding / enhancing the database / prospecting for new business, B2B Meetings and Top Buyers Programs
  • Managing the coordination of both visitors and exhibitors registration processes with third party suppliers and the Digital Department
  • Reporting and monitoring results, using metrics to improve performance
  • Managing an annual marketing budget and delivering marketing activity within budget

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Excellent copywriting and verbal communication skills
  • Bilingual in English
  • Strong experience in online and offline direct marketing and communications
  • Online content management and web skills
  • Experience in digital and social media content development
  • Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong multi-tasking skills and ability to prioritize
  • Ability to meet deadlines within budget and under pressure
  • Strong time and project management skills
  • Experience in a publishing / event / exhibition background is a must
  • Expertise in Content Management Systems (WordPress) and digital marketing tools (SEO/SEA, web analytics, …) is a plus
