…they are continuing the success story of AIREX® PET foams and rounding off the T92 portfolio with yet another attractive choice of density – as announced on the 27th of January 2011.

Designed to meet the needs of very highly loaded applications AIREX® T92.200 features very high strength and stiffness as well as excellent fatigue resistance. Besides, it is extremely resistant both to high temperatures and chemicals all while being thermoformable. With this easy-to-use and high performance core material 3A Composites will target structures asking for very high mechanical properties such as floors in automotive applications, transoms and bulkheads in marine or highly loaded sections in windmill blades to name just a few.

“Our customers now have a very extensive range of densities – and therefore performance levels – of AIREX® T92 to perfectly meet each application’s very specific requirements,” says Philipp Angst, Product Manager of Airex AG.
