The center is the result of a partnership between Aeris Energia, a wind blade manufacturers and Barracuda Advanced Composites, a structural composite distributor.
This training Center located in Fortaleza will help thousands of Aeris employees and apprentices to develop their composite manufacturing skills.
The capability to design, manufacture and assemble composite materials is vital in the wind energy industry in order optimize the weight and design, thereby improving efficiency and performance. Brazilian wind market has a steady growth of 10% a year and both Barracuda and Aeris aim to improve skills, training, efficiency and quality for the wind energy infrastructure in the region.
The new training center will help Aeris workers to improve their capabilities on the vacuum infusion processing as well as testing and developing new products and material specifications.
