Hexcel and Snecma propulsion solide grant non-exclusive license to LIBA

Hexcel and Snecma Propulsion Solide, who are leading developers of high-performance composite materials, composite technologies and their applications, have granted LIBA a license under their patents to produce machines for making sheets of multiaxial fiber by laying up unidirectional layers of material formed by spreading several spread tows of filaments.  The machines covered by the license include those currently marketed under the name “COPCENTRA MAX 5” and associated equipment.

The license is granted on a non-exclusive basis and covers past, present and future machines.  The license also extends to LIBA’s customers with respect to the multiaxial fiber sheets produced by the machines and any parts from which they are manufactured.
