Mogul launches polyester based thermoplastic polyurethane fabrics

Elastex TPU is a highly elastic product for use where good stretching capability is needed. Besides its elastic characteristics Elastex TP has high air permeability and is resilient to abrasion, puncture, ageing and UV. It will be available in various colors.

Leading areas of TPU nonwovens application include medical, pharmaceutical, hygiene, healthcare, sportswear, food packaging, beverage filters, automobile interior components, cable wraps, films and many others. Elastic nonwovens applications are expanding rapidly due to their value adding technical attributes.

The Mogul TPU product range is 40–400 gsm and has a glass transition temperature of -34°C). With a melt temperature greater than 200 deg. C. It is intended to offer good flexibility from -34°C to 125°C.
