MVC growing in the wind energy power segment

From January 2013, MVC will supply the Spinner (nose) and Nacelle (body) of Alstom's wind turbines.

MVC growing in the wind energy power segment

The development and manufacturing of such tools will start in August. These part will be produced under the infusion and RTM processes, in high performance composites with glass content over 50%.

 

Their first client in this segment, a very strategic client for MVC, was Gamesa; IMPSA came next, and they are currently celebrating Alstom's arrival.

 

The wind turbines will be installed in the Rio Grande do Sul wind farm and they will use two of their units (Parana and Rio Grande do Sul) to supply them.
