Velox offering ThermHex PP honeycomb cores

The thermoplastic honeycomb cores range will be offered by Velox in Europe excluding United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

The ThermHex PP honeycomb core material is already well established as a material of choice for various applications in different industries such as transport, automotive, marine, building and construction, industrial equipment, wind and solar energy and many more.

ThermHex Waben GmbH produces a broad range of core products in a thickness range from 3 mm to 30 mm and densities from 60 kg/m³ to 120 kg/m³. Compared with other material in the market, ThermHex PP cores deliver surface quality in sandwich components, even when very thin skin materials are applied.

With this new cooperation, Velox offers manufacturers of lightweight sandwich components a new cost-saving polypropylene honeycomb core solution. The ThermHex PP honeycomb cores offer significant weight saving, high compression and shear strength, energy absorbance, resistance to moisture, acids and base and are 100% recyclable.
