I.C.S. Carbon Conference - March 28, 10:30am - 1:00pm: Technological developments in the production and application of CFRP

I.C.S. Carbon Conference - March 28, 10:30am - 1:00pm: Technological developments in the production and application of CFRP
Among the 12 different themes JEC Europe 2012 will put forward, the Carbon Conference on Wednesday, March 7, will highlight the technological developments in the production and application of Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastics in various industries.

Despite having higher price, carbon fiber composite global demand is expected to reach €10,6B (US$14B) by 2012 and to increase to €11,3B (US$19B) by 2015 with an annual growth rate of 8%. The topics will develop firstly, the CFRP fabrics with optimal processability and mechanical performance, then the process-optimized core concept for over-braiding technique.

Avoiding long-term damage to the environment will be in the heart of our conference, thus we will develop the 3R (Reduce, Re-use, and Recycle) technology with case studies regarding the mass transportation and wind energy sectors.

For this conference, speakers from state-of-the-art companies such as Munich Composites GmbH, Umeco, SGL Carbon, Huntsman Advanced Materials among others, will discuss these different issues.

Seats are limited so make sure to secure your attendance to this high-value added Conference by reserving now.
