Composite Crew Module encounters space vacuum at NASA's Marshall Center
Engineers at NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Ala., moved a Composite Crew Module (CCM) into the Environmental Test Facility vacuum chamber to gauge how well a space structure fabricated with composite materials will react in a simulated space environment. Data gained during this test series will aid in the design and development of future in-space composite habitable structures.

Héli-Union inaugurates its Eurocopter Dauphin AS365 N3/ N3+ Simulator
Eurocopter, the world’s leading helicopter manufacturer on the civil and parapublic markets, and Héli-Union, the leading French civil helicopter operator, celebrate today the inauguration of a new simulator for the Dauphin AS365 N3/N3+ developed and built in partnership with Thales. The simulator certified last February is  operational at Héli-Union’s training center in Angoulême, in the Charente region of France.
