Composite testing first for Exova with Airbus approval
Global aerospace testing group Exova has become the only independent provider in the UK to achieve Airbus approval for a key composite test. Exova’s Bridgwater lab is now Airbus approved to perform Tg (glass transition temperature testing) using DMA (Dynamic Mechanical Analysis).

Energetx composites exporting wind blade molds to Spain
Energetx Composites of Holland, Michigan, is exporting a complete set of 45.3 meter wind blade molds from its Michigan facility.  The molds are shipping to Aeroblade, based in Minano, Spain.  Energetx Composites is using an identical mold set in its Holland facility to manufacture the same 45.3 meter wind blade for the North American market.

Johns Manville receives Germanisher Lloyd Approval for StarRov076
Johns Manville (JM) recently received another new approval by Germanisher Lloyd (GL) for glass fibers to be used in wind turbine blades. StarRov076 direct roving is used to reinforce the product range in NCF (Non-Crimped Fabrics) and weaving processes.
