Production application of the new Ultramid Balance (PA 6.10) in automotive quick connectors
The new 30 % glass fiber-reinforced Ultramid® S3WG6 Balance has found a production application at A.Raymond. The internationally active automotive supplier of fasteners and connectors with headquarters in France uses the polyamide (PA) 6.10 from BASF  that was first introduced at the K 2010 in quick connectors for fuel lines. The material is characterized by not only its hydrolysis resistance, but also its exceptionally high  resistance to fuel.

Teijin Aramid's recycling program wins VNCI responsible care award
Teijin Aramid's recycling program shared the first prize for the 2012 VNCI Responsible Care award. Since 2004, Teijin Aramid invested in an infrastructure to reduce aramid waste and recycling Twaron aramid fibers. In 2011, Teijin Aramid received a TüV-certificate for Twaron Pulp 0701, the first product that was entirely based on recycled aramid fibers. AkzoNobel received the award for its environmentally friendly processing of animal hyde.
