User-friendly mold release agents for the processing of composite materials

Focus will be on the presentation of the recently introduced Chemlease® One FS EZ branded semi permanent release agents. The new EZ variant provides the same trusted performance as the well-proven One FS, but with many new improvements. In addition, the product is free of hazardous air pollutants, which contributes to a more environmentally sound working environment.

The main advantage of the innovative Chemlease® EZ series is its user-friendliness and efficiency. The new products have been developed to deliver improved mold surface wetting properties, making them much easier to apply. Minimal additional mold surface preparation is required in order to deliver a streak-free or smear-free finished surface, resulting in significantly less time spent in mold preparation while producing a high quality product devoid of imperfections. Once applied, operators merely allow the coating to dry and cure before beginning production. As with the current standard Chemlease® products, the new generation EZ products deliver excellent multiple release and low build-up.
