JEC is the largest composites industry organization in the world, with a network of 250,000 professionals, and its aim is to represent, promote and expand composites market by providing networking and information services.

The American composites market represents 35% of the global composites industry in value (34% in volume). Moreover composites in the USA represents 16% of the US structural materials market (steel: 76%, aluminum: 8%) following a 6% annual growth since 1960.
