Applied Molecules announces a product line of UV curable composite repair and filler materials 

Manufacturers of composite products and components have a need for a fast, clean, cost-effective method of repairing surface imperfections with a wide variety of composite materials.   The AJ13 series materials cure almost instantly with UV light and are immediately sandable and paintable. 

UV coatings are a safe, solvent free, and energy efficient alternative for coating a variety of heat sensitive substrates such as MDF, wood, plastic, and composites, as well as traditional metal materials.

AJ13 can be used with a wide variety of composites such as: SMC, carbon-fiber and other engineered materials.   Curing can be completed using handheld cordless UVA light sources. Most will cure in <10 secs.

The AJ13 is already tested and approved for use in demanding exterior automotive, marine, energy and  other industrial applications.
