Constructed using the most versatile, comfortable and durable materials available, the all-new BR3 is the absolute gold standard for clubs and school programs. Designed specifically to handle the demands of club and school programs, the BR3 delivers durability, comfort and performance in a more economical package. Harnessing Bont Rowing’s renowned and proven anatomically-correct design, the BR3 will take club, school or individual performances to new heights.

Featuring a lighter, stiffer and lower stack two-piece carbon fibre chassis, BR3 takes their popular PBR3 and delivers better energy transfer, greater durability and reduced bend point force for a more natural and powerful interaction between foot and stretcher.

BR3 highlights

A new level of comfort
Redesigned with a lower carbon forefoot cradle and Super Stretch around the first and fifth metatarsal joints, the all-new chassis takes comfort to another level while significantly improving bend point elasticity and durability. The carbon heel and forefoot cradles also provide optimal power transfer, reduced foot slop, and—with the Sweet-Spot— allow easy, yet controlled flexion for a stable and comfortable catch.

The supportive carbon sole structure improves foot positioning and control, an impact that is felt right up the lower limb to aid knee, hip and spinal tracking through the stroke.

Bont Rowing shoes are built using the very best carbon fiber from Toray of Japan.

Your closest connection yet
Their industry-leading stack height has been further reduced from 3.6mm to just 2.5mm for lighter, stiffer and more direct connection between foot and stretcher.

Shape for feet
Utilising a revised anatomical and rowing-specific last, the BR1 allows the forefoot to sit in its most natural position throughout the stroke for an effective and more versatile fit.

Customise your position
Improved lateral forefoot adjustability provides every rower with the ability to fine-tune their foot position on the stretcher while a reinforced and more elastic bend zone improves durability and reduces energy cost at the catch.

Composite heel cup
Heel connection and load are vital for the ultimate stroke, engaging hamstring and gluteal muscles helps with force and control through the legs, pelvis and lower back. Project B brings a carbon heel cup that supports every stroke and moves.

Safe and secure release
The BR2 features a tried and tested single-strap Velcro enclosure system for a comfortable and more universal fit with reinforced anchor point. Combined with FISA and competition-approved signature safety strap and handle, the BR3 is safe and secure for rowers of all levels.

Their uncompromising approach to club and school-level performance
pushes beyond power transfer with a lower forefoot cradle, increased
bend point elasticity, wider heel cup counter and achilles gateway for a more versatile fit across the entire size range.

Usability is further enhanced with targeted Super Stretch fabric placed around the first and fifth metatarsal for a most supportive and stable anatomical fit yet.

The all-new BR3 retains a tried and proven single-strap Velcro enclosure with FISA and competition-approved safety strap for emergency removal of shoes. The all-new lazer cut hydrophobic microfiber upper and anti-stretch backing improves foot hold and stability while the proprietary Vent Mesh takes comfort and ventilation to another level for a more comfortable row for rowers of all foot shapes and sizes.

The BR3 carbon fiber rowing shoes will be available for purchase first week of January 2022.
