China’s Arctech Solar signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Shanghai Shisheng
China’s Arctech Solar and Shanghai Shisheng New Materials Co., Ltd. signed a strategic cooperation agreement, agreeing to carry out in-depth cooperation in the field of photovoltaic and composite materials, and to jointly promote the technological progress of new materials and their application in the field of new energy.
Founded in 2009, Arctech is a leading manufacturer and supplier of intelligent solar trackers, fixed-tilt structures, and BIPV solutions for utility-scale and commercial solar projects worldwide.
Shanghai Shisheng New Materials Co., Ltd. is a technology-based company conducting polymer material technology research and development in China, specializing in high-performance thermoplastic composite material technology. The company focuses on the research and development and innovation of new materials in the field of new energy, specifically of ultra-high-strength environmentally friendly recyclable composite materials, new conductive fillers for conductive silver paste and other composite material technologies.
After years of development, China’s photovoltaic industry has grown and become a new calling card of Chinese manufacturing. However, in the Chinese photovoltaic industry chain, the photovoltaic silver paste is the only weak link that has not been fully localized and is still subject to foreign players. This is a gap that the Chinese photovoltaic industry must fill.
Through the strategic cooperation with Shanghai Shisheng, Arctech plans to realize the industrialization of new composite material module frames through the joint efforts of both parties, as well as the innovative breakthrough and industrial development of photovoltaic silver paste technology.
