Chongqing Fengdu New Materials Co., Ltd. was established in October 2020. It is a mixed-ownership enterprise focusing on the research and development, production, sales and service of high-performance composite materials. CPIC, China’s glass fiber giant, holds 40% of its shares through its wholly-owned subsidiary Chongqing Yixuan New Material Technology Co., Ltd.

Chongqing Fengdu New Materials Co., Ltd. is an important part of the glass fiber downstream industry chain extension strategy implemented by CPIC based on the positioning of “glass fiber + composite materials”.

The 20,000-ton pultruded sheet project of Fengdu New Materials (Shaoshan) Co., Ltd. in Shaoshan High-tech Zone is mainly engaged in the research and development, production and sales of pultruded forms for wind power generation, photovoltaic energy, green construction, rail transit and other fields.

Within the Shaoshan High-Tech Zone, the 20,000-ton pultruded sheet project is one of the upstream supporting projects of Sany Wind Power, forming a relatively complete wind power industry chain. The annual output value of the project is expected to exceed 400 million yuan (€ 56 million), adding new momentum to the high-quality development of the park.
