The project is the general contracting project of the second water source construction project (Phase II) in Korla City, Xinjiang province, China. It mainly includes the construction of water intake head, pretreatment station, water pipeline and external power supply line outside the plant, mainly in glass fiber reinforced plastic pipe, with a total length of 38.1 kilometers.

The implementation of the project will help to make up for the lack of water supply in Korla City and other infrastructure shortcomings, meet the city’s urban water supply needs and promote the sustainable and coordinated development of Korla City’s economy and society.

The pipeline winding molding process of Grad group is to wind the continuous fiber (or pre-preg yarn) soaked in resin glue on the core mold according to a certain rule, and then solidify and demold to obtain the product.

According to the group, the product has corrosion resistance with a service life that can reach 50 years. The installation is simple, there is no post-maintenance cost, and the comprehensive cost is low. Other characteristics include a single length that can reach 12 meters, few joints, short construction period, light weight and high strength, great design flexibility, small surface roughness and superior hydraulic performance, which can be widely used in water supply, heating, gas supply, sewage discharge, irrigation, petroleum, energy, transportation, marine development and other fields.
