E3-150 matrix of Microtex Composites, has been chosen by CRM Compositi to realize structural and accessory parts of 3 motocross bikes:

  • CRM-YCF-250 Sophia Paul’s motorbike during WMX 2014 (Women Motorbike Championship)
  • CRM SCF 450 Alessandro Albertoni’s motorbike during MXGP 2016 championship
  • CRM SCF 250 the motorbike currently used as prototype.

The epoxy structural resin E3-150 is suitable for different applications from motorsport to automotive, industrial to biomedical and electronic markets. It offers many advancements, namely: good mechanical properties, high tenacity, biological compatibility and radiotransparency.

The epoxy resin E3-150 has an outlife of 4 weeks at 21°C and a storage life of 12 months at -18°C. It is suitable for different types of reinforced fibres and UD (both solvent and hotmelt) including carbon, aramid, glass and special fabrics.
