Dymag bolsters leadership team with three key appointments

Dymag CEO Tom de Lange said: “Dymag continues to go from strength to strength with sales growing month on month. The board and I are delighted to welcome these three new staters who’ll be able to bring their experience in the industry to bear. Bill and Dirk will support sales both sides of the Atlantic, working across both our high performance automotive and moto product lines. Ashley will be able to support customer development programmes for the growing number of OEMs we are working with”.

Hendrickx joined Dymag as Chief Commercial Officer where he will be responsible for the overall go-to-market strategy and will lead on customer engagements outside of North America. Hendrickx brings with him 25 years of Sales and Marketing experience and will be based at Dymag’s HQ and manufacturing site in Chippenham in the UK.

Koenig has amassed over 30 years of sales management experience in the automotive aftermarket sector, demonstrating an unrivalled understanding of market dynamics and customer needs. His deep understanding of composite wheels for the automotive and motorcycle industry further strengthens Dymag’s position as an industry leader in cutting-edge wheel technology.

Koenig will be based in Dymag’s soon to be opened Los Angeles, California office where he will drive sales to OEM and aftermarket customers. 

The third new starter, Symes, fills a new role of Technical Programme Manager. In this role he will give technical and project management support for customer specific developments and will liaise with the team in Chippenham to guarantee a timely delivery. Ashley joins Dymag from Eibach springs where he managed their Engineering and Programme Management functions.

Strength and durability are also greatly improved over equivalent alloy wheels or full carbon wheels, a carbon hybrid wheel offering the ability to bend and spring back in the event of an unusually high load or sharp impact – rather than shattering – enhancing safety.

Dymag’s gains can make a significant difference to the dynamics of a high-performance vehicle, with the benefits even more significant on EV, an ever-growing sector of the market, where the step-change in four-corner weight-saving can enhance EV range.  Carbon fibre’s unique properties an also reduce Noise Vehicle Harshness (NVH) too – a huge boon for engineers developing an EV where the ICE is no longer masking unwanted noises.  

Carbon hybrid wheels also bring aesthetic advantages for OEMs; a forged aluminium or magnesium centrepiece offering greater design flexibility than a solid carbon fibre wheel, while Dymag’s unique designs are also proven and tested to OEM standards off-the-shelf.
