Fraunhofer ICT signed a contract with Nanjing Loyalty
China’s Nanjing Loyalty Composite Equipment Manufacturing Co., Ltd. and Germany’s Fraunhofer ICT formally signed a cooperation agreement. The two parties will focus on the composite pultrusion process to boost the high-quality development of thermoset/thermoplastic composite pultrusion technology in China.
“We signed with our contract partner Nanjing Loyalty a 2-year-contract in the field of pultrusion with the possibility of contract renewal for one more year”, says Fraunhofer ICT.
Based in Pfinztal, Germany, Fraunhofer Institute for Chemical Technology (ICT) focuses on the scalability of processes and the transfer of research results from laboratory scale to pilot plant scale and in some cases to pilot-level application.
Fraunhofer ICT currently has about 580 employees, who carry out research and development in their core competences of chemical processes, energy systems, explosive technology, drive systems, polymer technology and composite materials.
Nanjing Loyalty was established in 2000, specializing in R&D and manufacturing of thermoset/thermoplastic composite pultrusion technology and equipment, serving nearly 400 customers in 28 countries/regions.
According to the agreement, Nanjing Loyalty will be mainly responsible for technology development, production line design and market promotion. Fraunhofer ICT is responsible for mold optimization design and production line optimization to help achieve efficient and stable production.
The two parties will share technological achievements, and carry out product and technology promotion in China, Europe and North America.
