Goldwind, Sinoma, Swancor, and China General Certification Center are joining forces

To respond to China’s new policy of “carbon neutrality and peak carbon dioxide emissions”, Goldwind, Sinoma, Swancor, and China General Certification Center jointly reached a cooperation discretion on the project “Recyclable Thermosetting Resin Development in Wind Turbine Blades”, giving full play to their respective advantages to promote the sustainable development of the wind power industry.

The cooperation is based on Swancor’s recyclable thermosetting resin “EzCiclo” to progress in wind turbine blades, including material evaluation, component/wind blade production, commercial development, and expanded cooperation in marketing, industry promotion, and policy promotion.

“EzCiclo” is a recyclable thermosetting resin, breaking the limitations of traditional thermosetting epoxy resins. The FRP made by EzCiclo can be degraded via CleaVER, getting the recovered fiber and resin recovery liquid. The recovered liquid can be reused into the wind power formula or applied to other epoxy formulation systems, and recycled fibers can also be used to achieve recycling economic.

“EzCiclo” provides a new solution to the environmental protection problems arising from future wind turbine blades’ retirement. In addition to being applied to wind blade composite materials, “EzCiclo” can also be used in a wide range of applications, such as sports and automotive composite materials.

Goldwind, Sinoma, Swancor, and China General Certification Center join forces to realize resource sharing, complement each other’s advantages, and jointly promote the extension and development of products and services of all parties.
