HRC signed a cooperation agreement with CRRC Molding Technology
HRC, the Chinese provider of solutions for composite materials, and CRRC Molding Technology (Qingdao) Co., Ltd. (CRRC Molding Technology), a subsidiary of CRRC, the Chinese state-owned leading rolling stock manufacturer, reached a strategic cooperation.
Zhu Yueqin, general manager of HRC’s subsidiary Jiangsu Hengrui Aviation Industry Co., Ltd., and Shi Lei, head of CRRC Molding Technology, signed a “Cooperation Framework Agreement”. Yang Xiuwei, vice president of CRRC Research Institute, Gu Yongtao, founder and chairman of HRC and other business representatives from both sides witnessed the signing.
According to the agreement, HRC and CRRC Molding Technology will coordinate their industrial development strategies and give full play to their respective advantages in industry, technology, and market resources. The aim is to jointly promote the ‘lightweight’ application of composite materials in rail transport, aviation, and automobiles, and to carry out ‘lightweight’ technology research, product innovation, forward-looking applications and market expansion for composite materials.
For typical target markets and R&D projects, a R&D team will be established in conjunction with HRC European R&D Center and domestic top technical personnel to implement project research and development, and strengthen professional and technical personnel training, so as to further enhance China’s independent innovation capability and level in terms of rail transport. The focus will also be on promoting China’s rail transport construction speed and efficiency.
