Nouryon inaugurated its Tianjin factory
Netherlands-based specialty chemicals group Nouryon held a grand ceremony to celebrate the full completion of its organic peroxide production base located in Tianjin, Northeastern China.
“At its new world-class innovative organic peroxide production facility, Nouryon will meet the ever-growing demand of customers in the packaging, paints and coatings and construction industries in Asia”, said the group. Organic peroxides are essential raw materials for the production of various polymers, which are used by the PVC (polyvinyl chloride) and composites industries in products such as window frames, artificial marble, coating resins and medical packaging materials.
The Nouryon Tianjin site has three production facilities and is also equipped with the latest technologies in the fields of safety, energy efficiency and environmental protection. The brands of Nouryon products produced in the Tianjin base include Trigonox® and Perkadox® organic peroxides and Butanox® methyl ethyl ketone peroxide.
