Polykemi Chongqing production base goes into operation

Based in Chongqing, in China’s southwestern Sichuan province, the new plant covers an area of ​​9,300 square meters and has started the production and supply of plastic compounds based on virgin and recycled plastic raw materials. Two composite material production lines have been installed in the new factory, mainly producing PP, PA6, PA66, PC and PC/ABS-based composite materials.

“Depending on the mix of material types and forecasted order volumes, we expect the capacity of the two lines to be between 4,500 and 5,000 tons per year,” said Magnus Lindahl, managing director of Polykemi Asia Pacific.

Polykemi Composite Plastics (Chongqing) Co., Ltd. is the second production base of Polykemi in China. It will provide more localized services for customers in the southwest region and provide solid raw material guarantee for the industrial development of the southwest region.
