Surface treatment: Plasmatreat strengthens its presence in Spain
The Spanish subsidiary of Plasmatreat, the German plasma surface treatment specialist, is expanding its sales team.
Plasmatreat Iberia, the Plasmatreat subsidiary responsible for the Spanish and Portuguese markets, has strengthened its sales team with the arrival of 2 new members. The group, which manufactures atmospheric plasma systems for surface pre-treatment, is aiming to strengthen its presence on the Iberian peninsula.
“Raquel Rosique Cáceres has been in charge of administrative management and internal sales since autumn 2023. Marc Costa Camprubí has been appointed sales director for Catalonia and will also be responsible for application technology and laboratory testing for customers“, explains Desiderio Diaz Garcia, managing director of Plasmatreat Iberia since 2020, who manages most of Spain and Portugal markets from the Madrid headquarters.
The Spanish team had already evolved last year with the arrival of Mercedes Tur Escriva to look after the Latin American market and sales in Eastern Spain. Mercedes Tur Escriva was formerly employed by Plasmatreat North America.
Plasmatreat’s technology uses plasma to transform the surface properties of various materials. It enables both fine cleaning, eliminating dust and additives, and improves adhesion to facilitate subsequent operations such as bonding, printing or painting.
The Plasmatreat group counts technology centres in Germany, the United States, Canada, China and Japan. The company is represented in over 30 countries by subsidiaries and sales partners.
