TDL TECHNIQUE launches its new range of untwisted flax fibre roving
TDL TECHNIQUE developed an innovative flax fibre roving made of parallelized and untwisted flax fibres, wrapped with a polyester or a cotton yarn.

Those rovings can be used to produce main fabric types and can be implemented according to common composites implementation processes with current thermoset or thermoplastic resins.
Parallelised, untwisted fibers allow an easy and better impregnation. Besides, the mechanical properties of flax fibres are preserved during the implementation process.
The range is composed of 200 to 2400 Tex rovings, either made of 100 % flax fibres or flax fibres comingled with thermoplastic resin filaments specifically developed for mass production thermocompression processes.
The main applications are sectors looking for carbon footprint reduction, lightening and vibration
management solutions.
