JEC Forum DACH comes back for a 4th year and celebrates the 100 years of the AVK
JEC Forum DACH organized in partnership with the AVK is dedicated to showcasing the composites ecosystem in the DACH region (Germany, Austria and Switzerland). This event is a unique opportunity to foster stronger connections with the local companies, research & development centers and applications sectors industries. Following three successful editions, in Frankfurt, Augsburg and Salzburg, it is in Stuttgart, on October 22nd and 23rd, that the local composites community is set to meet.
Its complete program combines customized business meetings, conferences and market perspectives, and a focus on innovation thanks to the prestigious AVK Awards and the JEC Startups’ Innovation Session.
In addition to its rich historic and cultural heritage, the dynamic city of Stuttgart witnesses the convergence of innovation and technology which shapes the future of the industry. Birthplace of German automotive industry, this hub for advanced composite materials hosts world’s top universities and research institutes and generates new synergies always pushing the limits of this exciting field.
Networking: Meet industry experts, innovators, and decision-makers
Based on the success of previous editions, JEC Forum DACH 2024 limits the participation to 500 attendees and will support the organization of business meetings between buyers and suppliers from DACH region, issued from the whole value chain of composites. Additionally, informal networking opportunities will be available during breaks, lunches, and an evening networking event.
To facilitate the organization and maximize business opportunities, all participants have access, prior to the event, to a digital platform that facilitates scheduling one-on-one meetings.
A diverse and large range of buyers and suppliers from the region has already registered.

Both JEC and AVK strongly believe in power of knowledge and the importance of staying informed about the latest trends in the composites industry. 2024: Celebrate innovative products
The AVK Innovation Awards
Recognizing outstanding contributions, the prestigious AVK Awards celebrate innovation by honoring composites industry visionaries and pioneers. 2024 will mark the 100th anniversary of the AVK association making it the oldest federation in the composites industry. Thus, this event will also mark a century of leadership and achievements.
Elmar Witten, Managing Director of AVK declared: “We are pleased to renew our collaboration with JEC for this 4th edition in Stuttgart and in the coming years. This business event is unique and gathers buyers and suppliers from the German, Austrian and Swiss markets together. JEC Startups’ Innovation Session
The JEC Startups’ Innovation Session highlights the dynamism of the composites industry by showcasing how startups break new grounds and push boundaries in terms of sustainable solutions for the sector. The proposed innovative solutions are transforming the way composites are utilized and the value they deliver and will positively impact the future of the industry. This year, five startups will pitch their project. They will also meet with the key actors of the industry by participating in business meetings or directly on their booth which comes with their selection.
The 5 startups participating are:
1. Eve Reverse: Turning emissions into products, by creating carbon-negative composites
2. Infinici: The First 100% Recycled Glass Fiber Product for Advanced Applications
3. Uplift360: Chemical technology to recycle advanced materials
4. Spiral RTC: Recyclability of thermoplastic composite production and end-of-life waste
5. Verretex: Decarbonized glass fiber textiles
Special Composites Tour!
The tour is divided into two parts and starts in the morning at Mercedes-Benz. From the Factory Tour to the discovery of their interactive Plant Model, and visiting its high-quality products shop, this tour is an exceptional immersion in the word of Mercedez-Benz. This special event is limited to two groups of 25 people each (first come, first served) and is reserved for participants already registered for the Forum.
The second part of the tour in the afternoon, takes place at Startup Autobahn the premier innovation platform that connects leading tech companies with startups to drive the future of mobility. The Arena2036, within the Startup Autobahn ecosystem, is a state-of-the-art research campus that focuses on the car of the future, smart production, and groundbreaking materials. This exclusive event is limited and operates on a first-come, first-served basis and reserved to the JEC Forum DACH participants
